I cannot express to you how amazing my experience was having Bernie Elking Photagraphy Capture every important moment on our special day. Not only are they very professional they are also very talented. I love how the photographer gave really cool ideas on how to pose and the locations they found were beautiful! I never had to leave to go look for the photographer because she was always by our side taking pictures. If you ever need someone to caputure beautiful, artistic and great quality pictures I definitley reccommend Bernie Elking Photographhy in St. Louis Missouri!!

John shot our wedding, and he did a fabulous job. He was very friendly and outgoing with our wedding party. He made sure to get all the shots that I asked for. He did awesome!

I have nothing but praise for Bernie Elking Photography. After having set a budget for the big event, we bought one of the less expensive packages and still had close to 900 images of our wedding day. Our photographer, Tony, caught a lot of candid shots while guests were arriving, which was especially neat for me to see since I was tucked away in the Bridal Room during that time. The whole time, he was non-intrusive but very efficient at getting the shots he needed, and his eye for detail was amazing. We got our proof DVD about a month after the wedding, and anytime I had a question, I was always able to reach a live person (usually Bernie himself) on my first phone call. I priced quite a few photographers before booking and I honestly feel that the value here is unmatched. There are a variety of packages to choose from and with any of them, you get all your images on DVD along with the copyright release. If you're looking for an experienced, trained photographer who will provide a LOT of high quality, traditional and fun/unique images at a reasonable price, look no further than Bernie Elking Photography. You won't be sorry!

We LOVED working with Bernie Elking!! Our Engagement Session was free with the bridal package and we got a free signature mat, too! That session was fast and fun and the studio was very flexible in finding a time for the appointment. We got several great photos from that fun, quick shoot. The day of the wedding our photographer was FABULOUS!!! He stayed longer than contracted--with no extra fee--and took, literally, thousands of pictures. Creative, artistic, classic, elegant. All describe the photos we got while working with Bernie Elking. Photo credit policy is excellent! Great experience overall!!

Bernie Elking photography is amazing. From the moment my husband and I meet with Bernie we knew it was a perfect fit. They are extremely nice, friendly, professional, and know how to take wonderful pictures. Our engagement session was included in the price of our wedding photo package-which is hard to find. The engagement pictures came back in a very timely manner and they are great! It was hard to pick which picture to use as our announcement, they were all beautiful. When we called Bernie Elking to confirm times as the wedding approached, everyone we talked to was extremely nice and knew who I was as soon as I said my name. This was important to us. We even ran into our photographer, Bernie, at the St. Louis Bridal Show and he recognized us right away and called us over to talk for a bit about the upcoming wedding. Our wedding day pictures are PERFECT!!! We do not have a single picture we do not LOVE! Bernie Elking has a variety of photo package options to fit any budget. They are the best photographer in the St. Louis area. Every bride and groom should choose Bernie Elking.

After speaking with another family member, I decided to go with Bernie Elking Photography because she had so many wonderful things to say about them and their experience at their wedding. There were very resonably priced. Every time I called I got a friendly voice and a straight answer. Scheduling was simple and flexible. Amanda, our photographer, was promt, energetic, and made the day all about what we wanted while managing to capture every moment, from posed to candid. Between our ceremony and rehersal we asked about going to a couple other locations: "Whatever you guys what to do. I'm down for anything" was her responce. I believe she went above and beyond any expectations! I would recommend this company and Amanda to anyone I can! Post wedding we recieved our photos/dvds within 2 weeks and are more then pleased with the quality and quantity of the pictures. Everything has been delivered as advertised and promised.

When I started out looking for a photographer I wanted the best for my money. Like everyone else I was on a strict buget with no room to expand. I wanted to stay between 1,000-3,000. I was kind of worried at first because alot of photographers start their packages at 3,000 and up from there. What drew me to Bernie was his pricing for his packages. Not only was he highly recommend, he had packages that can suite anyone's pocket book. That was a plus for me. Bernie Elking like's to work off of referals, and I say this because he is very good with customer service. If you are not please with something, he is ready and willing to fix it with no questions asked. The staff at his studio is knowledgable and helpful. I was very please on how fast I got my wedding pictures back. I received my pictures exactly 2 weeks from my wedding day. The day of the wedding I expected only Bernie to show up to take pictures. When I was down stairs getting ready at the church one of Bernie's staff members walked in and introduced herself and started snapping pictures. I thought to myself, "I think I only paid for one photographer". I turned to my mom who was with me and said, "did you surprise me and pay for two photographer"? She replied with "no". I went up and told her that I thought that Bernie was the only photographer I had. She nicely replied with "Bernie wants you to have all the pictures you can have, and since he is working with the Groomsmen right now he wanted to have someone down here with you and the girls getting ready". I was really impressed with that. She stayed with us the rest of the day and into the reception. I was blown away by this. Another plus was that we paid for 8hours with Bernie but he actually ended up staying for 11hours. Bernie showed up at noon that day and did not leave until 11:00p.m. that night. I highly recommend Bernie. If you are an undecided bride and are not sure who to go with, at least take the time and check him out. One last thing that made me confident on choosing Bernie was when you walk in his studio he has all of his awards displayed through out the studio. Not only were they recent awards but awards from reputiable sources. Hands down, Bernie Elking is a must have wedding photographer. Sincerley, Very Pleased...

Paul Mc Allister was the photographer for my daughter's wedding, and we were very pleased with everything he captured in stills. These memories will last many lifetimes, and we're grateful for such professionalism and attention to detail.

This company was simply AMAZING! with the cost of photography reaching outrageous costs, this was the cheapest packages I could find, yet had a better porfolio than those exspensive companies! they were always helpful, the photographer I had was wonderful, so sweet and attentive! They had packages starting in the eight hundreds on up, but you didn't lose ANY quality when you go for the lower price. The pictures were amazing to say the least. I was so happy with this vendor and they come highly recommended from me!

The photographs from my wedding are absolutely stunning! The photographer I originally wanted at Bernie Elking was unable to photograph my wedding, but his colleague was absolutely wonderful! She really understood exactly what we wanted and helped wrangle my large wedding party together to get pictures taken! She was so relaxed and that made me relaxed and the process of pre- wedding pictures went off without a hitch! I am so pleased with the quality of my pictures and how quickly they were available to me after the wedding!
