Cakes with the Personal Touch by Edith Hall

She is absolutely amazing and can do anything! It took a little bit to get back to me for a few things, she only does consulting on Mondays and Tuesdays. The cake was very expensive, but looked absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious. It was worth the money. After all, she is very well known across the country for her cake decoration and TV appearances!

When another vendor we had hired to do the cake for my daughter's wedding cancelled on us, 3 months before the wedding, my contact with Edith Hall gave me the reassurance that she would be able to provide the cake for the wedding along with the groom's cake. What a wonderful decision this was for all of us!!! The bride's cake was absolutely delicious and so was the groom's cake - two different flavors, so all of the guests had a choice. It was decorated exactly as my daughter wanted and she worked in conjunction with the florist to do the final decorations on the cake. Edith with easy to talk to, very understanding, and best of all, her cakes are fantastic! I would highly recommend Edith Hall!

Edith Hall is wonderful! She sat with my mom and I to look at a picture we had found in a magazine that was a little unique, but traditional. She had four weddings, all over Central Missouri, that day but still managed to get my cake to my reception location in time for the florist to arrive to add the flowers. She is absolutely amazing in what she does!

After reading some reviews, I was a little concerned about choosing Cakes with a Personal Touch because other reviewers reported she was difficult to contact and work with. However, I thought Edith was ABSOLUTELY GREAT! We didn't have any difficulty contacting her or working with her. When we met I explained what I wanted my cake to look like (white with white scroll work and a bow on top), and although she didn't have a photo of it, she said she could do it. When we saw our cake on our wedding day we were absolutely amazed. It was perfect--EXACTLY how we had imagined it! Many of our guests commented that it was the most elegant wedding cake they had ever seen. We were very pleased with our wedding cake and the service we received from Edith, and we would definitely recommend her to everyone else. One hint: book early because her time fills up fast!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! I wanted to have a cake that tasted as good as it looked and Edith Hall exceeded our expectations. I plan on ordering cakes from her for birthdays, anniversarys, etc. She has many flavor options and all the flavors I tried were amazing. I highly recommend her.

The cake was amazingly beautiful.The wedding cake we got from them was excellent!! Everything came in on time and we were treated in a very professional manner, I would recommend advantage bridal to anyone.

We decided to get married in my hometown, but we live in South Carolina and Edith was wonderfully flexible when it came to tasting times, requests for the cake and anything else I worried about. Our cake was absolutely amazing--we just celebrated our first anniversary and we unwrapped our top tier as per tradition---fearing what other brides warned me about, dry inedible cake, I feared the worst. I should have known better, Edith's cake was just as wonderful on our anniversary as it was on our wedding day. I would recommend Edith to anyone!

Edith created just what I wanted. I gave her a picture of wanted I wanted created and I got just what I asked for. She created both my rehearsal dinner and wedding cake. What you get for the money is fabulous and was just a superior as you get from some of the bakeries in larger cities. I would go back to Edith in a heartbeat. Thank you for my wonderful and artful cakes!!!!

This cake vendor was sometimes very hard to get a hold of. I often had to call and send several emails before getting a response. The cake itself was very tasty and it was a good price, however, I was not satisfied with the design. We opted for a simple, 2-tier cake of one color and ivory ribbon at the bottom of each tier. The appearance did not look very good, especially in sunlight. If the communication were a little better, I would have been more satisfied, but I do not feel it is my job to constantly call and call to 'confirm' when I have a million things on my to-do list.

I had given Edith a magazine cut-out of a cake I liked and she paid attention to every detail I wanted but still made mine personal. She was very flexible to personally bring my cake to the reception location even though it was out of town. The cake was absolutely perfect! Many of my wedding guests commented on how beautiful it was.

My wedding cake was outstanding. My sister had Edith Hall make her cake as well so we knew how great of a job she did. My cake was just what I wanted and then some. She was very nice, she was pretty flexibile. I know she's very busy and everyone wants her to make their cake but she was pretty flexiable. She did an outstanding job. Thanks!
