Forest Park Visitors Center

Catering St. Louis did a wonderful job. The venue (Lindell Pavillion Visitor Center) was beautiful! They contacted all of our vendors the week of the wedding which was really helpful and the food was delicious! Everyone had a fantastic time.

LOVED our reception venue. It was gorgeous and the staff was great. Everyone was pleasant to work with. There was a last minute event in the park that made parking a nightmare and the Visitor Center/Catering St. Louis extended the reception for an hour free of charge to make it up to us. The only thing I would caution is that the capacity listed on the website is much higher than they recommend for the room. I planned for the capacity listed on the web and ended up having to cut the list down because it would be such a tight fit. Just meet with them to discuss numbers before doing your guest list and you'll be fine!

I fell in love with the Visitor's Center at Forest Park, which is why we settled on Friday night since every single Saturday was booked a year in advance from April through June when we looked. The food was wonderful, the servers excellent, the space so beautiful and unique. If you havenÂ’t seen this venue I definitely recommend checking it out. I really wanted a gorgeous, unconventional space that a lot of guests hadnÂ’t already been to before, and this fit my description perfectly. Catering St. Louis is the exclusive caterer for this venue, and I was very happy to work with Rhonda, my on-site coordinator. She was so quick to respond to any questions my mom or I had. Only downside is Catering St. Louis is not cheap, they managed to get a monopoly on this venue, and in my opinion, several of the other most unique venues in St. Louis. Luckily they do a wonderful job!

We were dead set on having our reception in forest park. We chose the visitors center, as the space is beautiful, parking is easy and it was very close to our ceremony site (Graham Chapel @ wash U) The service was great. It is a bit pricer than other venues in STL, but worth it for the location.
