Plume Events

We used Yara as our day-of event coordinator. She went above and beyond for us! It was so nice for my husband and I (as well as our parents and family) to be able to sit back and enjoy the day rather than worrying about anything strategic. Yara is so wonderful to work with. She is very reliable, easy-going, and extremely knowledgeable about St. Louis weddings. I would highly recommend her to any bride!

Yara and her services are absolutely amazing and worth every penny! I was a bride on a strict budget and thought that I should at least save money on wedding planning services thinking I could do everything on my own. The first three months of planning were absolute hell and I turned into a basket case. I am still surprised my fiance even stayed engaged to me:) After I was recommended Yara's services by my venue, I decided to meet with her fully convinced that I couldn't afford her services. I ended up LOVING her from the first minute and I booked her for the day off coordination as well as help with decor and review of vendor contracts before the event. She literally saved my sanity!!! She is so helpful, understanding, always gets back to you super fast and is constantly able to make new recommendations and ideas. Her knowledge of the other wedding vendors is immense and she was able to save us a lot of money by recommending some other vendors, i.e. flowers, invitations. In the end her services ended up being "paid for" themselves by the amount of money she saved us for other services. She was so proactive in providing ideas for little details, all which were very reasonable. At the actual rehearsal and wedding day- she made sure that everything ran super smooth and she had the ability to not be intrusive at all, yet she was somehow there whenever I needed anything whether it is to help with my dress, get the groom away from the bar and his friends or simply get me a drink. We have gotten amazing reviews from all of our friends and family about the wedding and many have described it as the "best wedding they ever attended". I can assure you none of this would have been possible without Yara. It is truly money well spent and you will not look back if you make the decision to hire Yara and her staff to enhance your wedding experience. Thank you Yara from the bottom of our hearts for all that you have done!!!

While it's still unclear to us how or why our contract with Rachel at Lucky You for her services was subcontracted to Plume Events, Yara and her team did an amazing job on our wedding day. Yara was prepared, professional, and willing to work with us and the unique challenges that our wedding presented. I felt confident with things in her hands and appreciate everything she did for us. Thank you Yara!! Highly recommended!

Yara was entirely helpful the few weeks before the wedding (contacting most of our vendors and arranging schedules, etc.), at the rehearsal (when a clueless rep from our caterer tried to run everything), and at the wedding (when Yara kept us all in the right places at the right times and intercepted as many annoying questions as I think she could from the vendors approaching my parents and me). A suggestion I would offer myself if I were to do it all again, at the rehearsal and wedding, when I observed minor inconsistencies to what we planned or when I had other suggestions, I didn't say anything. I had the idea 'it's little, it doesn't matter,' and went on enjoying myself. I should have brought these items to Yara's attention, as they would have made some logistical and aesthetic differences to some people. A huge, added bonus with Yara... she's trilingual and has lived overseas. I don't believe many other planners in St. Louis can offer the skills Yara put to much needed use at our wedding, where we spoke multiple languages and had multiple people from abroad in the wedding party. My husband and I lived abroad for years and wanted to incorporate elements from another culture in our wedding. Before we started working with Yara, I'd only encountered 'wow, that'd be cool... we can try to do that!' from various vendors. With Yara, she knew exactly what we were talking about and knew the vendors and methods to accomplish what we wanted. Merci bien wa shokrun jazeelan Yara!

Yara did an awesome job on our wedding day & planning! She kept my Mom & I calm and stress-free! She gave us great ideas for vendors for our price range. She laughed at my husbands jokes and enjoyed teasing my Mom with me ;0) She helped create a beautiful, creative, and personal wedding that Bill & I hoped for! Thanks Yara!!!

Yara at Plume Events did a fabulous job for our December 2010 wedding. Our wedding was originally planned for March 2011, but at the last minute we had to move our wedding date..with less than 2 months to plan Yara stepped right in! She was flexible and made sure all of the vendors and details were in order. Yara took my phone calls as a nervous bride 24/7..literally called her after midnight and she was still sweet and professional. Thank you Plume Events for all of your help. We would not have ever pulled it off with out you!

Yara did an amazing job & turned my vision into a beautiful reality! It was a dream come true & couldn't have done it without her. Throughout the months leading up the wedding, she was always sending me ideas, which really inspired the look I ended up going for. I was planning the wedding from the West Coast, but she was there every step of the way to make me feel relaxed and that everything would be taken care of. The day of when there were issues with a vendor, she worked it out and still made everything happen, and I didn't even realize there were any issues that day! I had a phone conversation with a couple of wedding planners before choosing Yara, and her personality & responsiveness had me right away! And on top of that, her prices are excellent!

Yara was great! She was always quick to respond and help. She had everything set up and handled all the other vendors so that i could enjoy my day. I was a little iffy about getting a coordinator since the ones I met with and researched were really pricey. But Bridal Horizons was reasonably priced and worth way more! I would highly recommend this company to anyone getting married in the St. Louis area.

Bridal Horizons is AMAZING!!!! They were wonderful about answering any question I had. They did such a fantastic job finishing setup when we had to go do hair/make-up and covering any of the problems that arose. One of our coordinators had her husband bring up their coffee maker when the one we rented didn't work. Yara stuck around to help clean up some even though her husband and dog were locked out of the house! These ladies go above and beyond and made the day so much more enjoyable and stress-free for me. I had originally not planned on having a day of coordinator but I really don't know how I would have done it without them. I cannot recommend Bridal Horizons highly enough.

Yara was fabulous! She helped me get so much done on the day of that I never would have been able to do myself. She's very professional and really knows her stuff. I'm so glad I had her to help me with my wedding!
