Jessica did a WONDERFUL job on our flowers! The bouquets were beautiful, and she was so amazing to work with-she even texted me when things were ready! I only have praise for Jessica and River City Florist!

River City Florist was great to work with! Mark did an amazing job and did exactly what I asked! I honestly think they went above and beyond with my wedding flowers... I not only ordered my bouquets from them but also ordered my bulk flowers from them and they were priced so well! Even after a huge issue with my flowers being held by customs Mark did everything to make sure I was happy in the end! I can't say enough good things about them!

Overall, I have nothing bad. But, I just was hoping for a little more "wow factor" in my flowers. But, they were fine to work with and I feel the price was good....just probably would pick someone else next time. I would rather have something a little more than just average.

Very unhappy with River City! I purchased almost $2000 in flowers for my wedding and I think the only thing that was correct was the color of ribbon around the stems of the bouquets. And it was not high quality ribbon. All the flowers were supposed to be white and ivory with green and/or pink berries but when I got to the church and saw my bouquet it was full of pink/peach roses and red berries. I wanted rananculus as the main flower in my bouquet and didn't have a single rananculus anywhere. I had very specifically requested only spray roses as filler if necessary. Our wedding had taken a lot of planning and everything was very cohesive, except these peach roses in no way fit in with the contemporary decor of the wedding. Not only were they not what we wanted or a suitable replacement but the quality of the roses was very poor. The petals were brown and wilted around the edges. We have amazing wedding pictures and I am almost embarrassed of the close up photos of my flowers!My wedding planner did contact River City and inform them of the problem but the wedding was beginning in an hour and I didn't want the drama. After the wedding I did recieve several phone messages from River City and they attempted to follow up, but I really didn't have any interest in speaking with them. The only thing they could do was offer me a refund and I didn't really care about the money. If I would've cared about the money, I would've ordered bulk flowers and had a family member arrange them, which is exactly what I would recommend instead of using River City. I HATE to post a negative review but of all the things that didn't go right with the wedding and planning process, this is the one thing that stands out in my mind!

I chose River City because several of my friends recommended them. After doing a consult with another florist, my first meeting with Mark blew me away and I knew I wanted to use them. He was able to give me the same amount of flowers at a fraction of the cost.I do, however, have two issues:1-Mark says that he never has an unhappy bride because you are able to come in the day before to look at your order. If you don't like something he will change it, no questions asked. When I viewed mine, they had lots of baby's breath-something I despise and it was never in our discussed plans. I told him to take it out of mine and my bridesmaid bouquets and he said ok. When my fiancé picked it up the next day just before our "first look" it still had it in the bouquet. At that point there was nothing I could do, we needed to take pictures.2-One of my good friends also chose to have River City as her florist for her wedding which was a few weeks before mine. She ordered bulk flowers for her reception hall and the price he quoted her was very reasonable. I also needed bulk flowers and they happened to be the same stem. However, when I called to place my order just days after her, the price went up $1.50 per stem. Yikes! And no, they were not roses or some exotic flower, just spider mums. I ended up using a different florist for my bulk flowers and happened to get a better deal.I would still recommend Mark because of the prices and his personality. He truly loves what he does and it shows. Just check around if you have any bulk orders, and make sure you tell him what you don’t what in your bouquet or it may end up as filler.

River city florists were great to work with. Specifically, I worked with Lindsay. She was great. She really put my ideas into reality and gave her opinions only when she felt it was needed. I was able to call about 4 days prior to our wedding to add some flowers to our order. It was no problem with them. It's really great to have that flexibility.My only complaint was that they forgot the 4 pink roses that we were to give to our moms during the ceremony. Luckily, we had 4 white roses for a memory table so we just used those. They are refunding the money since they forgotRiver city wants to make sure you are happy. If you have time the day before the wedding, they ask that you come to approve your flowers. I recommend it so that it's one less thing you have to worry about going smoothly on the day of because you will already know they are great.

I highly recommend using this florist for your wedding. We worked with Mark and he was great--very friendly and full of ideas. Our flowers were extremely affordable and also quite lovely. Also, he was willing to make some last minute changes to make sure everything was perfect.

My flowers were beautiful but I don't know if I got my monies worth. The communication between me and my contact were not good throughout the year I was planning.

This florist was wonderful. Mark was the person whom I worked with. I put a lot of trust in him that the flowers would turn out and they were beautiful!!
