With This Ring

We were both very pleased with Doug's work. He personalized our ceremony to fit our beliefs/needs. He had great ideas for the winery ceremony. He met with us a few months ago to discuss what we wanted and were looking for. He customized our ceremony to us. He did a great job on the day of our wedding.

My husband and I chose Rev. Robison to officiate our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the choice. He was flexible when it came to meeting and was very quick to respond whenever I needed to email him. He even emailed me to confirm a few days before the wedding, something I was quite pleasantly surprised by! He did an excellent job on our wedding day. He explained the vows to my husband and I beforehand and presented them perfectly during the ceremony.

What can I say, the ceremony was perfect! Doug worked with me and changed my ceremony twice. He was great at asking me what I wanted and gave us many ideas of what our options were. As a bonus his wife helped me calm down before the ceremony :)

Doug was very flexible about the content & wording of the wedding ceremony. He was very upset about us being just 15 minutes late to our ceremony and let us know it. He doesn't own a microphone so if you are having an outdoor ceremony you'll have to buy or rent one. He stumbled over a passages in our ceremony. Overall he was just ok.

Doug R. of With This Ring was fabulous to work with!!! We met with him very early on, and chose him as our officiant without meeting anyone else. He was very flexible in how the ceremony was set-up and what was said, and about last minute changes in wedding party members/family situations. Fee included rehearsal. His wife, Claire, was part of the deal, too, and acted as coordinator at both the rehearsal and on the day of. She kept bossy bridesmaids in line and everything running smoothly. The pair was wonderful--very nice and very sure of what to do and when. I felt no fear or doubt about the day being perfect.

Doug R. was WONDERFUL!! When we first met he was very comfortable to talk to and answered all of our questions. He was really professional, the day of the wedding he came on time and helped us go through what would happen.I even messed up my vows but he helped me get back on track. We were looking for an Officiant that would allow us to have a ceremony that reflected our believes/values and we found that with Doug! He worked with us to create a ceremony that was specific to us and our commitment to each other. I highly recommend Doug and Claire I couldn't have imagined a more prefect ceremony for us and I owe that to them!! Thank you!

He provided a very nice ceremony that we loved.Our Officiant was great. He made sure the entire ceremony was all we wanted to be. He made it personal. It wasn't just another ceremony. We do highly recommend him.

We booked Doug for our October 2009 wedding.I really liked working with Doug. He was organized, well-prepared and very professional. He had a ceremony script prepared months in advance, but was flexible with changes and gave us good advice for our vows. He was on-time and always organized. I liked the feeling he gave our ceremony - the tone was serious but not overly so - I definitely recommend him!

Doug and his wife were nice to work with. They were unable to come to the rehearsal due to a previous commitment. Everything was satisfactory.

We thought Rev. Doug and his wife were just great. They created the basis of our ceremony tailored to our specifications, and then altered it however we requested them too. It was such a relief having Doug's wife coordinate our processional. They were very professional and easy to work with. They provided just what we wanted and more.

My (now) husband and I couldn't be happier with Rev. Doug Robison. He made our day very special, and we are so happy to have found him! I was referred to him by many, many happy brides on the STLWed.com message board.We were worried about finding an officiant who would meet our needs and desires for our ceremony. We aren't the "traditional" couple - I was raised Christian and am on the road to converting to Judaism, and he is a Reform Jew who hasn't really practiced since he was a kid. We knew we wanted something more relaxed and not-so-focused on religion, but still very meaningful and touching. We met with Doug and his wife, Claire (who works kind of as his assistant - she helps out at the rehearsal and on the wedding day, doing coordinator duties) and felt comfortable right away. They are both so nice and not at all intimidating. Sometimes it can be hard to open up about religion, especially with people you don't know (or a reverend!), but they were so down-to-earth and not judgmental at all!We quickly decided that Doug was the one for us, and he drafted up a ceremony for us. It was perfect from the start. We didn't want to make any changes. We were really impressed about how intuitive he was, and how he could have drafted up something so perfect after only meeting us for 45 minutes. The wedding ceremony went smoothly and wonderfully, with Doug and Claire being totally professional and helpful the entire time. We couldn't be happier with this decision! We would recommend them to anyone!

What is there to say? Doug is perfect. Him and his wife Claire are a great team. We booked them as soon as we met with them, and about 2 weeks later, we had the first draft of the ceremony in hand. I cried reading it, it was so touching. Anything and everything we wanted to do or change, he was on top of and supportive of. On the day of, his wife took charge coordinating everyone and getting us down the aisle at the right time. We were doug's 50-something-th wedding of THIS year. And I have heard from probably about 30some girls who have used him over the years and I haven't heard ONE bad thing about him. Can't recommend him enough!

We absolutely loved Doug and Claire! They are fabulous people and we were lucky to have had the opportunity to work with them. I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend my officiant. He was amazing. He let's you choose anything and everything that is included in the ceremony. We had the option of writing our own vows, but didn't. We didn't want the pressure. He wrote the whole ceremony for us and it was personalized. He was very flexible. If we didn't like something or when we had something added to the ceremony he would make changes. We always proofread every copy. Granted we always liked what he wrote. I would just change who was actually in the wedding and would add various things to the ceremony, like releasing doves. I would just tell what I wanted and he would write more. I really enjoyed working with him. He was the best vendor to deal with. The funny thing is my cousin, who's wedding was the weekend after mine, used him too. We didn't know this until closer to the wedding. He and his wife are so sweet and professional. He will do religious weddings or non-denominational weddings. I know I chose him and my cousin chose him because of the non-denominational weddings. It's the easiest option if your religious views are different from your future spouse.
